AS A FRESHMAN (2025-26)
Appeared in 27 games for the Sharks, providing a strong presence off the bench and contributing on both ends of the floor… Totaled 268 points (9.9 points-per-game) while shooting an efficient 50.7% from the field and 81.1% from the free throw line… Added 116 rebounds (4.3 per game), including 43 offensive boards… Recorded a season-high 28 points on 10-of-12 shooting at Saint Leo (January 21), one of the most efficient scoring performances of the season… Posted multiple double-digit scoring outings, including 18 points against Fort Lauderdale (December 16) and 16 points versus Saint Leo (February 21)… Collected a season-high nine rebounds twice, against Assumption (December 19) and Saint Leo (February 21)… Contributed defensively with 34 steals and nine blocks… Demonstrated consistent efficiency with 16 games shooting 50% or better from the field… a part of the fifth consecutive Sunshine State Conference regular season, SSC Tournament and NCAA South Region Tournament championship team.

PRIOR TO NSU
Kayser joins the NSU Men's Basketball program after four years at Minford High School, where he finished his career in third place all-time in points scored (1,455). Kayser averaged 25.4 points, 9.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists during his senior campaign. He was voted Conference and District Player of the Year and was voted to the All-State, Conference and District First Teams. He played AAU with the Midwest Basketball Club, averaging 16.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 3.2 blocks and 1.4 assists per game, making the All Circuit Second Team.

PERSONAL
Son of Craig and Hillary... has three siblings, Cole, Sydney and Austin... says that reaching the Final Four for the first time in school history is his most memorable athletic achievement... is majoring in Exercise and Sport Science... likes the family feel the most about NSU... names his dad as the most influential person in his life.
